In 1926, Mr. Jaime A. Pages Perez became part of Seguros Fenix which was later acquired by Seguros La Previsora, and remained there till 1958, thus starting a tradition within the Venezuelan insurance business. His persistence, professionalism and honesty led him to occupy excellent managerial and directive positions inside companies of the highest reputation.
He was president and founder of the Venezuelan Committee of Insurers against Fire, which eventually became the Venezuelan Chamber of Insurers, acting there as a founder and first Vice-President. For two consecutive periods, he was elected President of the Venezuelan Professional Association of Insurers. He was founding member of the State of Miranda Stock Exchange, pioneer in the capital market in this country, and later fused with the Caracas Stock Exchange.
In 1959, he founded Pages y Asociados, C.A. Sociedad de Corretaje, today one of the most renown and traditional brokerage companies in the country. Three generations have contributed with its serious and professional work, participating in the development of what is today the Firms´s philosophy, absolutely committed to the needs of its clients. Pages y Asociados has a reputation of having the highest level of quality in personalized service.

From 1.926, with an extensive career inside the insurance industry, he participated as founder and first Vice-president of the Venezuelan Chamber of Insurers, President of the Venezuelan Professional Association of Insurers, and representative of this country in different international fora. He was distinguished with diverse national recognitions, among those, The Francisco of Miranda Order in its First Class and Order for Merit Work in its First Class.

After concluding his studies in Business and Accounting abroad, he began his activities in the insurance industry in 1959 as partner in Pages y Asociados. During these years, he has participated in diverse technical seminars and courses of professional training in the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, Caracas, and other specialized academic institutes.

Administrator with specialization in Marketing and Insurance in Spain and England, and since 1970, in the insurance and reinsurance brokerage business, he has held executive positions in Segdwick Forbes, London, Technical Executive Manager of Reaseguradora Nacional of Venezuela, C.A., Manager of the Division of General Insurance of Seguros PanAmerican, C.A. and Founding Manager of the Grupo Segur, Sociedad of Corretaje de Seguros.

Technical DirectorIn 1990, he became a member of Pages y Asociados in 1990 and has been its Director since 1998. He has an extensive experience in the insurance industry, with specialization in compensations and handling of accidents and claims. He holds a BS in Economics and a MS in Organizational Development, both from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello, Caracas. He carried out professional training studies approved by the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and the Insurance Institute of America, in the Insurance Library Association of Boston, Mass.

Director of Pages y Asociados since 2000, after having joined the firm in 1993. He has wide experience and expertise in the development and implementation of important insurance programs for the Public sector. He attended the Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, where he obtained a BS in Economics, and specialization studies on Insurance afterwards.

He is a Business Executive in Pages y Asociados, graduated in Business Administration in the Universidad Metropolitana. He has brought his experience in the banking sector to the firm, specifically in the quality area after having worked in Banco Exterior, Venezuela. Do you work with all the insurance companies?
The legal structure of Pages y Asociados allows us to work with any Insurance company legally authorized by the Venezuelan Insurance Superintendence. However, the inherent responsibility with our client’s risks has moved us to work with more emphasis with a group of insurance companies carefully selected in terms of certain parameters of financial status, volume of premiums, reputation of partners, experience and quality of service, all aspects that we value of vital importance.
Do you work with all type of policies?
Yes. Do you only advise corporate clients?
No. Our firm has Technical Units and Costumer Service with all necessary tools to guarantee the highest level of personalized attention to Corporate and Multinational Companies, as well as to individual Clients.
Are you in capacity of offering attention and consulting service outside Venezuela?
Yes. In the case of clients outside Venezuela who are looking for our professional service, we currently conduct business in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. We also work together with international insurance companies in offering the benefit of our service outside our borders.
